Ethernet EMIO

I read the microzed blog (77,78 and 79) on ethernet and I was able to establish an ethernet connection using eth0 port and could send and receive Ethernet frames using the intrexample function.  Currently, I want to use Eth1 using EMIO and MII interface. As per the zynq userguide, the 7:4 bits should be connected to logic 0. However, could someone let me know if all the other pins should be simply pulled external? Are there any other steps as well which should be carried out? This may sound like a trivial question but could someone help me with this.
